Dock lines (bowline, stern line- two spring lines) - $68.
These are a must if you plan on tying up to a dock. Spring lines come with spliced loops that fit the mushroom cleats. Stern and bow lines have whipped ends which run through either a stern eye or the bow eye and are fixed by a stopper knot. They are cut to appropriate lengths with ends whipped to prevent fraying.
Fenders with Special Mounting Lines - $119.
A set of fenders is necessary to prevent scuffing or chafe when tied to a dock or a larger boat. They are easily hung on the boats side by hooking the looped lines on the fenders over the mushroom cleats installed inside the gunnel. They can be flipped inboard when not required. The Solo 14™ is set up for three fenders along each side. Normally fenders are used only on one side but sometimes two sets (a total of six) is advisable to prevent damage to the boat or other boats topsides.
Davit Hanging Strops (Two, bow and stern, spliced eyes ) - $228.
Made from braided Spectra line these are ultra strong ( 8000lbs+) and can easily handle lifting your boat utilizing the stern and bow eyes. Custom lengths available for specific needs. Lifting Strops (Two, bow and stern, spliced eyes ) - $228.
These lifting strops, also made from braided Spectra line, are ultra strong ( 8000lbs+). They can easily handle lifting your boat utilizing the stern and bow eyes and make it simple to hoist your boat on deck or up into a boathouse or garage. Custom lengths can be made up to suit your specific needs. Call us for advice or information.
Python Lock - $42.
This python cable lock is just the thing for securing your boat against theft or unauthorized use. Run the cable through the bow or stern eye and around a fixed object or through a cleat or eyebolt on the dock, trailer or bigger boat, back through the lock and turn the key.
Dock Bunk - $675. including dock edge slider. Bunk only - $520.
A Dock Bunk is a handy way to keep your boat on a dock plus it makes it easy to launch or retrieve. Hand crafted out of fir, carpeted with slippery plastic keel slider material. The plastic Dock Edge device (see insert) makes it even easier to handle the boat on and off the dock. Anyone in reasonable shape can easily haul a Solo 14™ up onto a dock up to 18" (46mm) high. Easily mount forward facing mirrors, rod holders, downriggers, trap haulers or drink holders - priced separately below - on the through bolted gear mount bases . A forward facing mirror is useful when rowing in crowded waters. Mounts are installed in pairs on both gunnels at the stern or an additional pair, on both sides amidships. Note: The stern eyes can also used for mounting a forward view mirror (shown below). Gear mounts are custom items and must be requested when your boat order is placed and cannot be retrofitted.) Rowing Mirror $129.
In a stable rowing boat such as the Solo 14™ turning to look ahead is easy. The rule is to always know what is all around you using your eyes to look for a direct view. However having a forward view mirror can be very helpful in high traffic areas. This one is built to handle the marine environment in glass, stainless steel and tough plastic. As can be seen in the picture the view is quite panoramic with this convex mirror lens. Note: If your boat is not equipped with a gear mount base there is a clamp on base available - see below.
Rod Holder - $79.
Row trolling style fishing is becoming more and more popular. Quiet, no stinky outboard engine exhaust smells and great exercise. It’s even better when rowing with a slide seat setup for a full body workout. With two rod holders you can troll with two rods at once, one out on either side., if this is permitted. You will probably find yourself rowing at much less than half speed to troll effectively and give the lures a proper action.
Lake Troller Style Downrigger $119.
This lightweight downrigger is great for getting down deep and is rated for weights of up to five pounds. It mounts on the standard gear mount base and features 360º rotation with stops. Construction is stainless steel and nylon. One Scotty No. 1181 Mini Power Grip Plus line release is included.
Makes for easier trap setting or retrieval. Built with tough reinforced nylon. Large roller size with pivoting head offers smooth operation. Intended for use with rope up to 1/2” diameter. Adjustable arm angle horizontally and vertically.

Transom Rowing Mirror $204.
This rowing mirror (same one as above) includes a mounting base that clamps through a transom eye. It or can be removed or installed quickly and easily. Perfect if your boat is not equipped with factory installed gear mount bases or if those mounts are in use with other gear.
Clamping Gunnel Gear Mount $125.ea. - $230. pair.This gear base clamps onto the gunnel wherever required. We manufacture this item in our shop out of Starboard® and stainless steel. It will accept any of the gear mounts options shown here. To prevent loss overboard when installing or removing the gear mount there is a lanyard included that simply loops over a cleat.
